THINKING ABOUT JOINING US ON SUNDAY?
Turning up to a new place can be a bit daunting for some people so we thought we'd give you a little guide to what a normal Sunday service might look like.
WHEN TO ARRIVE...
Our Sunday service starts at 10:30 am.
We have tea and coffee available before the service from 10:10am. There will be someone on hand to give you a warm welcome.
After the service we have tea, coffee and (sometimes) cakes.
WHERE TO GO...
We are situated on a quiet road on the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield, near Sutton Park and Banners Gate. There is off road parking in our main car park at the side of the church and parking on the road in front of the church.

WHAT TO WEAR...
We're a pretty informal bunch and we're not too bothered about what people wear. We do know it can be pretty nerve-wracking for some, so don't fret, whether you want to come in your Sunday best or your ripped jeans, you're welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT...
Our services have someone guiding us through the morning. There will be music, mainly modern with a hint of traditional. We may pray for our world and our church. Someone will share and this is a very interactive time, generally about how following God applies to our daily lives. We may share bread and wine (non-alcoholic) to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross.
At Banners Gate, we love to spend time lifting our hearts and voices in worship. We believe there is no one way to worship God. The Bible tells us to "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" and musical worship is a great way to do this together. We use both contemporary songs as well as the more traditional hymns in a fresh way which suits our church. We invite everyone not just to sing along but to bring their own thanks to God.
